Shell Tonna T 220
A machine tool slideway oil from Shell’s Tonna T range at ISO VG 220, developed for use on a wide range of materials used for machine tool slideway surfaces including cast iron and synthetic materials; can also be used in hydraulic and gearbox systems, although Shell Tonna S oils are generally preferable for such applications. The lower viscosity grades (32 or 68) are intended for horizontal slide lubrication, while ISO VG 220 is intended for vertical slides.
